7" Tyranosaurus Rex Claw  This 7" claw was from a hind limb of a juvenile Tyrannosaurus rex. This massive carnivore measured up to 50 feet from the tip of its enormous jaws to the end of its tail. It was more than 18 feet tall and weighed 6 tons. This claw was excavated from a partial skeleton found in a dried up stream bed in South Dakota. Click on the picture for a larger image.

Its fossils have been found in Wyoming, Montana, New Mexico, and South Dakota.Its monstrous 3 foot jaws were lined with 60 dagger-like teeth that were 3 to 11 inches long.
